* Desarrollaría una velocidad de 120 km por hora (tres veces el promedio de velocidad actual).
* Una inversión de 3.100 millones de dólares. Casi 1.900 millones de dólares menos que para el tren bala.
* Proyectando 18.000 km de vías reconstruídas a nuevo: 7.000 km de vías para trenes de pasajeros y de carga y 11.000 más sólo para trenes de carga. Unas 300 locomotoras, 900 coches de pasajeros y 15.000 vagones para carga.
* Los pasajes costarían varias veces menos de lo que cuesta actualmente un pasaje en micro.
* Llegaría a todas las zonas del país (Noroeste, Noreste, Cuyo, Centro y Patagonia), a todas las grandes ciudades, y a cientos de pueblos que volverían a conectarse con las grandes ciudades, bajando costos de transporte y reactivando las economías regionales.
* El "tren de todos", utilizaría tecnología nacional y del Mercosur al alcance de las capacidades de nuestro país.
* El proyecto reimpulsa la industria ferroviaria nacional con la construcción de vagones, el ensamble de locomotoras y la producción de repuestos, generando trabajo.
